The words “field trip” bring to mind fun days of learning and playing with your schoolmates. For student groups, Equestrian House© offers exclusive access to our 100 acres with outdoor activities including basketball, tennis, pickleball, trampoline, hiking, swimming, and fishing.

Fresh air! Natural scenery! Nearer and cheaper than a trip to Disney!

Day Trip and Overnight Options!

For student group trip planners, we offer options for:

• Day trips. A day in the country in the north Poconos is a car trip away from New York and Philadelphia. Day passes are available for visits Mon-Fri and Sat-Sun.

Trips from NYC/Philly: starting at $50/person (includes transportation)
Trips from Northeast PA: starting at $17/person

• Overnight trips. Our accommodations include cottages and log cabin available for rental for an overnight stay.
• Flexible for any Group Size: 20 – 100 or more people (including students and chaperones)

Activities and Amenities

• Open air and private space for use by just your group!
• Six (6) basketball courts – bring your game and your favorite basketball or just shoot some hoops!
• Four (4) tennis courts – bring your tennis racquets and balls!  Coming this Summer – Pickle Ball!
• Catch-and-release fishing pond – bring your fishing gear; no barbs, please.
• Trails for hiking and exploring nature.
• In-ground swimming pool – seasonal and weather permitting; bring your swimsuits.
• Open meadow – for outdoor games of tug of war or soccer or for pitching a tent under the stars.
• Catered lunch options.
• Use of indoor restrooms.
• Tent or additional rentals available.
• Bee apiary and fruit orchard tours available.
